Aamir Khan Calls "Sitaare Zameen Par" Different Than "Taare Zameen Par"

While filming Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022, Aamir Khan considered giving up acting. He has since produced a number of excellent films, including Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies. However, following much persuasion from his children and other family members, Khan made the decision to return to his strengths. He is now awaiting the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, his next film. The actor claimed that the "humorous film" is completely different from its forerunner, Taare Zameen Par.

Aamir Khan revealed details about his upcoming movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. It's a lovely tale, Mr. Perfectionist said. He added that many would cry watching his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par because it was so emotionally charged.

But they would laugh at Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor-producer revealed, "It's a humorous film," adding that while the topic is similar to the prequel, the film's emotional tone is humour rather than emotions.

He went on to discuss the film, saying, "In many ways, I feel it's way ahead of Taare Zameen Par because in the film, my character helped the person who was with the challenge in the film, who was Ishaan."

According to him, his character, who is ostensibly a normal person, is receiving assistance from ten individuals with disabilities in the upcoming sports drama movie. The PK actor claimed that it goes much beyond Taare Zameen Par and that it's a true flip from the 2007 film.

Sitaare Zameen Par, which was directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, also features important roles for Khan, Darsheel Safary, and Genelia Deshmukh. Safary told ETimes that Khan had assured them the film will be fantastic.

The young actor talked about his relationship with the Dhoom 3 star and said that Khan is gradually realising how quickly he has matured over the years. "I recall a brief incident where I requested a black coffee on the set of the commercial film," he continued. 'What?' he asked me, glaring at me in surprise as he said something to someone.
