Kayadu Lohar’s Journey to Stardom
Kayadu Lohar, hailing from Tezpur, Assam, made her debut in the Kannada film industry with Mugilpete (2021), starring Manoranjan. She later entered Tollywood with Alluri (2022), where she acted alongside Sree Vishnu. She also appeared in a Marathi and a Malayalam film but did not gain much recognition.
However, her big break came with the Tamil film Dragon, where she played the female lead opposite Pradeep Ranganathan. The film’s success catapulted her into the limelight, making her a well-known name in Tamil cinema. Within the first three days of its release, Dragon grossed ₹50.22 crores worldwide, further boosting her popularity.
Upcoming Projects
Following Dragon, Kayadu Lohar is now flooded with offers. She is currently working on Idhayam Murali, where she stars alongside Atharvaa. Additionally, she has signed a Telugu film directed by Jathi Ratnalu fame K.V. Anudeep, titled Punki, featuring Vishwak Sen as the lead.
Kayadu Lohar’s growing popularity has also been reflected on social media, where she recently posted a heartfelt video in Tamil, thanking her fans for their overwhelming support.
With promising projects lined up, Kayadu Lohar is set to establish herself as a leading actress in South Indian cinema.
