The filmmakers of the upcoming film Kesari Chapter 2 posted a video from their recent trip to Amritsar's Jallianwala Bagh today, April 16, 2025. At the monument, R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and Akshay Kumar were spotted holding floral wreaths to remember the victims.
The three engaged with the audience and talked about their movie-going experiences. The occasion was also attended by B Praak, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Gurdas Maan, and Raghu Palat, the great-grandson of C. Sankaran Nair. Since he had grown up hearing tales about the Jallianwala Bagh from his father and grandfather, Akshay felt that this film was a "circle" when he spoke to the audience.

The film's producers are Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari.
