Shah Rukh Khan's film Baazigar has become a cult favourite, and its appeal is still noticeable today. Everyone was charmed by the actor's portrayal of the anti-hero in the romantic thriller from 1993. It has been revealed that SRK is in negotiations for Baazigar 2, which is a fantastic development. A sequel will undoubtedly be produced, according to recent confirmation from producer Ratan Jain.
Producer Ratan Jain said in a recent interview with ETimes that talks are on with Shah Rukh Khan about a Baazigar sequel. The portal claims that Jain stated that although a script was not yet complete, he wanted to move on with the movie only if SRK would play the lead.

Jain further disclosed that while the sequel had an intriguing concept, it required a "fresh" director and a "compelling" narrative. He wants to ensure that the movie will live up to the expectations created by the original.
"Baazigar 2 is something we keep talking to Shah Rukh about, but not much has happened. It will definitely be made," stated Ratan Jain.
The release date of Baazigar was November 12, 1993. It was released thirty-one years ago today. One of Bollywood's most recognisable on-screen duos, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, starred in the movie. Key parts were played by Johny Lever, Siddharth Ray, Rakhee, Dalip Tahil, and Shilpa Shetty. Abbas-Mustan directed the movie. It was highly praised for its tension, music, performances, and plot.
Shah Rukh Khan is now preparing to begin filming King, his upcoming project, in January 2025. Shah Rukh and his daughter Suhana Khan are working together for the first time. The movie also stars Abhay Verma and Abhishek Bachchan.
