‘After The Hunt’ trailer: Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield star in Luca Guadagnino’s psychological thriller

The official trailer for Luca Guadagnino's psychological thriller After The Hunt, which stars Julia Roberts as a university professor who must face the secrets of her past, has been made public by Amazon MGM Studios.

Roberts portrays Alma Olsson, a renowned scholar whose career takes a turn for the worse after a student, Maggie Price (Ayo Edebiri), reports that fellow professor Henrik Gibson (Andrew Garfield) has acted inappropriately. What starts out as a case of academic misconduct quickly turns into something much more intimate for Alma.

Guadagnino, Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody, and Allan Mandelbaum co-produce After the Hunt, which was written by Nora Garrett. Executive producers include Alice Dawson, Garrett, Karen Lunder, and Justin Wilkes. Chloë Sevigny and Michael Stuhlbarg are also part of the cast.

Following 2024's Challengers, the movie brings Guadagnino and Amazon MGM Studios back together. Call Me by Your Name, Suspiria, Bones and All, and last year's Queer are some of his previous works.

In October, After The Hunt will be released in theatres.
