Mohan Rao (Sai Kumar) owns the law firm where junior attorney Surya Teja works. He aspires to be given and win a case on his own someday so that he can do more than his father did, which was to notarise documents. Chandrashekar, 19, supports himself and his family by working in odd jobs. His father, a watchman on a plot of land, is accompanied by his mother and sister.
Chandrashekar falls in love with Jabilli, a 17-year-old girl from a wealthy family. Mangapathi, Jabilli's uncle, is considered the family patriarch since her father passed away. If Mangapathi believes that someone has jeopardised his honour or family's integrity, he uses his lawyer, Damodhar, to bribe the police to make up false accusations against them.
The story centres on Surya Teja's discovery of the issue and his assistance in securing justice for Chandrashekar.
