Aneet Padda, born October 14, 2002, in Amritsar, Punjab, is a rising Indian actress, model, and singer making waves in Bollywood. She began her journey balancing modeling assignments—featuring in commercials for brands like Nescafé, Paytm, and Cadbury Dairy Milk—with her studies in Political Science at Delhi University’s Jesus and Mary College.

 

Her on‑screen debut came with a minor role in the 2022 Kajol‑led film Salaam Venky. In 2024, she gained critical recognition for portraying Roohi Ahuja in the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, earning praise for her nuanced, emotionally resonant performance -- and even lending her voice as a singer. That same year, she released her debut single “Masoom” and featured in the TV drama Yuva: Sapno Ka Safar under the name Aneet Kaur.

 

Her breakthrough arrived in July 2025 with Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films. Starring opposite debutant Ahaan Panday, Aneet’s portrayal of gifted songwriter Vaani Batra helped the film earn approximately ₹20–24 crore on its opening weekend and catapulted her to national attention. Critics and filmmakers alike praised her authenticity and screen presence; her casting was selected from hundreds during a five‑month audition process emphasizing realism and emotional depth.
