Adam Brody Reveals How His Kiss with Kristen Bell Was Described in the Script

Adam Brody and Kristen Bell are one of the most adored on-screen couples, thanks to their chemistry in the recently popular sitcom Nobody Wants This.

Bell dressed as Joanne, and Brody as the attractive Rabbi Noah. Fans have been talking a lot about the plot of the show, but they are also raving about the protagonists' first kiss.

In an interview with People Magazine, Brody described how the kiss in season one episode two was filmed. According to the actor, he read something about the kiss being the best kiss ever while practicing his lines with Bell before the shot was ready.

The O.C. actor stated, "I’m paraphrasing, but it said something to the effect of, “It’s the best of all time.'" 'Put your ice cream down;' 'put the bag down' was in there, he repeated, recalling the scene much more. "He touches her face," I believe. Simply put, I'm glad I was a part of what seems to have been a memorable kiss. It has a strong cinematic quality.

The actor continued to quip, though, that his skill as a kisser on TV hasn't allowed him to escape doing housework. In front of his wife and children, he disclosed that the scene—or even playing the lead in the Netflix series—has never elevated his standing.

"No," the actor disclosed. I can't claim that my status has increased, but I have nothing to complain about because I'm treated properly here. He gave his wife credit for increasing the standard of romance when he said, "Ah, well, everything I do, I learn from my wife."

Meanwhile, Nobody Wants This focuses on Jewish Rabbi who develops feelings for a girl. When religious obstacles stand in their way, they find ways to coexist. Due to the success of the first season, the streaming service has decided to renew the series for a second season.
