Bazooka Final Kerala Box Office: Mammootty’s Thriller Ends Run at Underwhelming ₹14 Crore
Mammootty’s action thriller Bazooka nears the end of its theatrical journey in Kerala, wrapping up with a disappointing box office collection of around ₹14 crore.

With Malayalam actor Mammootty in the lead role and directed by Deenu Dennis, Bazooka has nearly ran out of theatres. After a terrible theatrical run, the gaming thriller ended up being a disappointing box office failure because it did not wow the public with its concept or execution.

Bazooka, which was co-produced by Yoodlee Films, debuted in theatres on April 10 in conjunction with the Vishu 2025 festival. In a three-way matchup with Maranamass and Alappuzha Gymkhana, it was released. At the box office, it also had to contend with the Tamil film Good Bad Ugly and the delayed release L2 Empuraan. It's interesting to note that Bazooka made an incredible Rs 3.40 crore opening. But after the first weekend of release, the film was unable to sustain its pace and failed to gain traction.

On its fifth day alone, the Mammootty film surpassed the Rs 10 crore milestone; since then, it has only been able to add Rs 3.50 crore to reach the total gross of Rs 13.50 crore at the Kerala box office. Due to its poor box office performance, Maranamass, a much smaller film, began to do better and even had the potential to overtake its cume.

Given that Mohanlal's Thudarum has taken over most screens, Bazooka is dying in Kerala. It is anticipated that the gaming thriller will end its theatrical run in Kerala with less than Rs 14 crore.
Bazooka is still showing in a few theatres. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or through online ticketing websites.
