With strong indications that the upcoming earnings call on May 15 could reveal whether GTA 6 is still on track for a late 2025 release, major announcements from Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive are anticipated in a matter of days.
Journalist Jake Brigstock claims that a formal announcement on GTA 6's Q4 2025 release timeframe is expected to be made at the Take-Two earnings call on May 15 at 4:30 PM ET (2:00 AM IST, May 16). Public documents published just before the call are anticipated to disclose the essential data. Fans should lower their expectations, though, since former Rockstar developer Obbe Vermeij noted that GTA V was delayed only four months before its initial release, proving that delays can still occur.
According to leaks, GTA 6 may be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 17, 2025. In keeping with Rockstar's tradition of postponing PC releases, PC users might have to wait until 2026.
