In recent years, Kartik Aaryan, who began his career in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, directed by Luv Ranjan, has gained widespread recognition. In 2018, the actor received his big break in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Kartik recently revealed that he feels strange when people compare him to the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa star Akshay Kumar. He also stated that he would like to work with the star on a comedy movie.
Kartik Aaryan was asked if he was likened to the original superstar Akshay Kumar in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama. Kartik stated that he has been and continues to be a huge fan of Akshay. The actor believes that he is not able to compete with Khiladi Kumar.
Kartik Aaryan opens up about working with Akshay Kumar in future
In a latest candid interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan opened up about his desire to work with Akshay Kumar in the future. He also expressed that he would like to collaborate for a comedy feature with the 'Airlift' star.
"Dekh raha hoon main bachpan se. "Jab log bolte hain toh mujhe thoda ajeeb lagta hai ki kaise is cheez ko mai bolun," is a distinct thing to me. Since I was a young child, I have been observing him. When the crowd compares the two of us, I feel strange and dumb," he remarked.
Kartik pointed out that people immediately began comparing Anees Bazmee to Akshay after his 2022 movie. According to the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor, the analogy isn't feasible.
Kartik went on to say that he hopes to work with Akshay Kumar on a comedy movie in the future. The Shehzada actor went on to say that the production will be fantastic.
Kartik Aaryan was asked whether he had ever worked on a paid film during a recent Pinkvilla Masterclass @ IFP Season 14. Kartik said that he had done it early in his career.
"I was in a phase where I didn't have enough money and I had to do it," the actor said without revealing the title of the movie. Other than that, I didn't think I had any other choice. I was eagerly awaiting the movies. Naturally, I once made a movie for the money since I wasn't receiving the options. I hate to admit it, but I did that.
Kartik Aaryan has appeared in films such as Love, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Shehzada, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and Akaash Vani.
Fans are now eagerly waiting to see him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Tripti Damri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and other supporting actors. The film is slated to release during the Diwali weekend.
