Salman Khan Clears Air on BBMF Legal Notice, Denies Ties to The Great Indian Kapil Show
Salman Khan responds to a legal notice from BBMF, with a representative clarifying that he has no association with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Read more about the actor's clarification and the ongoing controversy.

Salman Khan's production company was allegedly linked to the controversy amid reports that he was facing legal issues after a notice from the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation (BBMF) accused The Great Indian Kapil Show of offending cultural and religious sentiments and disrespecting Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore's legacy. His agent swiftly stressed, though, that the actor and his business had nothing to do with the Netflix series.

In response to the legal notification from the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation, Salman Khan's representative clarified that The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix is not connected to either Salman Khan or his production company, SKTV. Additionally, the statement affirms that SKTV is no longer associated with the show's operations and that the legal notice has no bearing on it.

Salman Khan denies connection with Netflix's The Great Kapil Sharma Show

The Great Indian Kapil Show is accused of disrespecting Rabindranath Tagore's heritage and violating cultural feelings, according to Dr. Mondal, President of the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation, who voiced these concerns through his legal counsel. On November 1, the foundation submitted a court notice alleging that the exhibition denigrates Tagore's writings. On November 6, comedian Kapil Sharma and Salman Khan's BeingU Studios were represented by Parinam Law, who denied the accusations.

They made it clear that the program is a comedy series featuring made-up sketches that is only designed to be entertaining and is not meant to portray any particular person or group in an inaccurate manner. They cautioned of possible legal repercussions should the situation worsen and requested the foundation to revoke the warning. BeingU Studios is prepared to vigorously defend its stance, including any related expenses and repercussions, and Parinam Law cautioned that any additional legal action by the foundation would be pursued at their own risk.

Regarding his career, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor is working hard on his next movie, Sikandar, which is presently being shot in Hyderabad's breathtaking Falaknuma Palace. Salman is seen posing with Bigg Boss 17 participant Arun Mashettey, who was on set with his wife and wearing a white uniform, in a recent set shot that has gone viral.

In addition, Arun posted a vlog from the event, hinting at his role in the movie without giving away any story points and urging viewers to see Sikandar when it comes out.
