Fans of Ranbir Kapoor continue to praise his faultless performance in Rockstar, where he played a singer who is still iconic. Many people thought he could genuinely sing because of how convincing his flawless lip-syncing was in the film.
But after a behind-the-scenes video of him lip-syncing went viral, opinions changed. Actor Vedang Raina, who finds inspiration in Ranbir, acknowledged, as with many others, that he had second thoughts after watching the film. Vedang responded to the same in a recent interview, saying, "Kuch nahi, it was negative."
Vedang revealed in a recent interview with Lallantop that he got his singing and performance inspiration from Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar. He stated "I've always been a huge fan of Ranbir, and he does lip-syncing brilliantly. Ranbir ki jo lip-syncing hai." Rockstar is my favourite movie, so toh mai bohot interested tha, toh mai BTS dekhna chahta tha, ki wo really gaa sakte hain ya nahi."
Vedang expressed his pride in Ranbir Kapoor's lip-syncing abilities, saying that he has always been impressed by how skilfully Ranbir performs the move. He expressed his interest in seeing if Ranbir could truly sing, particularly because Rockstar is his favourite movie, and he watched the behind-the-scenes video.
Vedang Raina Has a Hilarious Reaction To Ranbir Kapoor's Singing
In his latest interview with Lallantop, Vedang shared his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor's singing and his latest thoughts after watching a BTS clip from the movie Rockstar.
He added, "Toh mai thoda bohot gaa leta tha, and mere dimaag mein tha, he must be a singer, kuch pitch toh hogi, but it was negative. Toh maine unse yeh pick up kiya ki, pitch-match karne ki koshish nahi karunga, mai bas performance pe dhyaan dunga."
Vedang clarified that, despite his prior experience as a singer and his expectation that Ranbir would have some pitch, the reality was otherwise. He used this as a lesson to concentrate more on the performance than pitch matching.
Professionally speaking, Kapoor will be starring with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's forthcoming film Love and War. According to earlier reports from Pinkvilla, Alia is scheduled to join the production in December 2024, and the movie's filming started in the first week of October 2024.
In addition, Kapoor will feature in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part One, which boasts a stellar cast that includes Sunny Deol, Yash, and Sai Pallavi. He also has Animal Park scheduled for release shortly.
As for Raina, he was recently seen in Jigra, playing a leading role against Alia Bhatt, Ranbir's wife. The movie has turned out to be a hit and is currently running in theatres successfully.
