Vijay Deverakonda is preparing for the July 31, 2025, theatrical release of his film Kingdom. Vijay recently talked about his personal life and his desire to spend more time with his girlfriend in an interview.
"Relationships come above everything," Vijay Deverakonda stated in an interview with Cinema Vikatan. Over the past two years, I have been maturing. I've also learnt how to live. I wasn't like this before. I didn't like my life for the last two to three years. I didn't spend enough time with my girlfriend, parents, friends, and family.
One day, I suddenly realised. I didn't want to feel that way. Right now... I try to find time for my people. I schedule time for my relationships, my friends, and my parents," he continued.

Rumours of a romance between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been in the news for a while. Although they haven't formally acknowledged it, the couple has been photographed together on multiple occasions while on dates and travelling.
Vijay has now acknowledged that he has a girlfriend and made the decision to devote more time to his relationships.
Vijay Deverakonda last appeared in a major role in the film The Family Star, where he costarred with Mrunal Thakur. He made a brief appearance in Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD in 2024, following the movie's disastrous box office run.
Vijay's eagerly anticipated film Kingdom will soon be released on large screens. According to reports, the film is set against the backdrop of the growing tensions in the Sinhala-Tamil conflict following independence.
The man must defend his people at all costs as he ascends to the position of leadership. According to legend, Kingdom is a part of a planned duology, with Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse playing important roles.
Additionally, Vijay has tentative titles like VD14 and SVC59 in his lineup.
