On Wednesday, the trailer for the upcoming criminal comedy Chaurya Paatam was released. The movie centres on a bunch of small-time thieves who intend to rob a Grameena (village) bank under the leadership of a character played by debutant Indhra Ram.
The trailer presents the movie as a humorous meta-take on the crime genre and includes scenes that spoof well-known heist thrillers, such as Money Heist. Davzand's soundtrack, which combines jazz and electronic elements, goes well with the light-hearted tone of the movie.
Nikhil Gollamari is the writer and director of Chaurya Paatam, which is his first motion picture. Under his production company, Nakkina Narratives, director Trinadha Rao Nakkina became the film's producer and provided funding. The film's narrative is attributed to Eagle (2024) director Karthik Gattamneni.
Alongside Indhra Ram, Payal Radhakrishna plays a lead role. Rajeev Kanakala, Mast Ali, Madi Manepalli, Anji Valguman, Edward Perezy, Supriya Aisola, Krish Raj, and Sahadev are among the supporting cast members.
Satheesh Manthem does the cinematography, and Uthura does the editing. On April 25, Chaurya Paatam will be released in theatres.
