F1 | Main Trailer
Following the release of the official trailer for F1® The Movie last month, Warner Bros. has released a new full-length trailer to further build anticipation for the film's premiere. Dramatic battles and fast-paced action in the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing were the main themes of the last video. Meanwhile, the new promotional video is much more emotionally driven.
The trailer opens with a scene in which APX GP team director Kate McKenna (Kerry Condon) appears to be interviewing Sony Hayes (Brad Pitt), setting up the story of Hayes' return to Formula One driving following a lengthy hiatus and the stigma that goes along with it.
The accuracy of the teaser, which features footage shot at real Formula 1 races over the previous two years, is one of its most notable features. Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion and one of the film's producers along with Brad Pitt, Jerry Bruckheimer, Joseph Kosinski, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Chad Oman, remained close to the production team.
The trailer, which combined real-world racing footage with cinematic narration, had stunning images from Silverstone, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, and Monza. To fully immerse the movie in the reality of Formula One, Pitt and his co-star Damson Idris, who plays Hayes' youthful teammate Joshua Pearce, were reportedly spotted standing next to actual drivers during pre-race rituals.
The production of F1® The Movie involved a collaborative effort from a diverse range of creative professionals. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who worked from a screenplay penned by Ehren Kruger, based on a story by Kosinski and Kruger. Daniel Lupi serves as the executive producer for the project. Notably, the film’s soundtrack is crafted by the acclaimed composer Hans Zimmer.
