TVF releases the trailer for their new show, Gramme Chikitsalaya, and another comedy series is scheduled to debut on the over-the-top platform Prime Video. The creators of the popular television series Panchayat, which stars Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta, are working with Prime. The rural comedy, which followed the lives of a government officer stationed in the area, won hearts by highlighting the everyday hardships of rural India.
The plot of Deepak Kumar Mishra's Gramme Chikitsalaya is on a young urban physician attempting to revitalise a dilapidated, abandoned, and forlorn medical facility in the village. Dr. Prabhat Sinha, played by Amol Parashar, is the city guy who will experience village life this time around.
Vinay Pathak, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor round out the cast. In the caravan, he is seen opposing the village's pervasive lack of a medical system, institutional corruption, and deeply held beliefs.
Prabhat walks from door to door attempting to find someone in need of medical attention in an attempt to disrupt the pattern of people not going to the government clinic, but he is turned away by the locals. The tone of the performance is established, the main struggle of the story is explained to the audience, and the villagers are persuaded to trust the government once more.
Under the auspices of The Viral Fever, Gramme Chikitsalaya will debut exclusively on Prime Video on May 9 in India and more than 240 other countries and territories globally.
