The intense teaser for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning features Tom Cruise back and bolder than ever. After eight thrilling chapters, the action-packed teaser preview hints at what might be the last chapter for Cruise's iconic character Ethan Hunt, capping up the decades-long spy tale.
By reliving some of the franchise's most iconic stunts and poignant moments, the teaser transports viewers back in time. Ethan begs his team to "trust him one last time" as the planet teeters on the verge of catastrophe due to a rogue AI known as The Entity. With the spy reeling from betrayal and a network of compromised secrets, the stakes are higher than ever.
"Everything you were, everything you've done, has come to this," says a spooky narrator that interrupts the trailer. If he accepts, the mission is his when the necessity for assurance is overwhelming and the odds are considered insurmountable.
Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Hayley Atwell as Grace, Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, Esai Morales as antagonist Gabriel, and Pom Klementieff as Paris are among the cast members who are returning. Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Stephen Oyoung, Tramell Tillman, Katy O'Brian, and Lucy Tulugarjuk are among the additions to the franchise.
After multiple delays, the movie, formerly dubbed Dead Reckoning Part Two, is now officially named Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and is scheduled for release on May 23, 2025.
