Superman | Official Trailer | DC
A new beginning for the DC film universe is imminent. This summer marks the premiere of James Gunn's Superman and the start of a completely new DCU period that should be far more cohesive (and of higher calibre) than DC's subsequent productions and far less grim and depressing than the Snyderverse.
In order for us to resume receiving good comic book films, I sincerely hope DC will rise from the ashes. Marvel was once truly dominating DC, but in recent years, everything has been very gloomy, with only a few good comic book films interspersed with the parade of mediocrity.
Many people ride Superman, which is appropriate, and I hope that my worries are completely unjustified. However, after seeing the movie's second trailer, I can't help but sense that something is... off. I keep holding out hope that every fresh caravan will allay my worries. I had two concerns when the first, largely plot-free trailer was released: First of all, this movie has a tonne of characters. Too many. Second, it appears both excessively polished and somewhat cheesy due to the colour grading and computer-generated imagery.
I found Superman's flying appearance in the second teaser trailer to be really strange. It may sound like nit-picking, but I believe it's crucial that your superhero, especially Superman, looks beautiful when in flight.
Since this is the first story trailer and the third video, we get to witness more character interactions and a lot more conversation, both of which are fantastic. Overall, I like the casting. As his voice shifts from Clark Kent's apprehensive, somewhat fluttery voice to a deeper, more assured superhero one, I believe David Corenswet does an amazing job in his chat with Lois Lane.
