Vijay Sethupathi & Nithya Menen’s ‘Thalaivan Thalaivi’ Announced with Teaser Reveal

'Thalaivan Thalaivi' is the title that the makers of the upcoming film by National award-winning director Pandiraj, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, announced on Saturday.

Renowned production company Sathya Jyothi Films posted on its X timeline: "Introducing #VJS52 - Thalaivan Thalaivii | தலைவன் தலைவி! "A tough love tale!" and provided a link to a teaser for the title announcement.

For his part, director Pandiraj posted the title announcement teaser link, writing, "#ThalaivanThalaivii A rough and tumble love story, a battleground filled with kisses.

Only voices may be heard in the background when the title teaser begins.

The hero's mother is the owner of the first voice. "You don't have to cook, daughter-in-law," she informs the heroine. We'll treat you like a king or queen. The heroine, Arasi, is then heard being told by the hero's sister, "You don't have to worry at all, Arasi." For my brother's sake, you can lose as many people as you want." In the next image, Nithya Menon and Vijay Sethupathi are seen chopping the Kothu parotta, a common meal in Tamil Nadu, on a pan. "Is this how you look after a queen?" says Nithya Menon of Vijay Sethupathi. He responds, "If you don't like, please leave for your father's palace." The verbal battle then heats up as she tells her that her house is a palace.

The film has cinematography by M Sukumar and music by Santhosh Narayanan. Pradeep E. Ragav is the editor and Veerasamar is the art director. Stunts for the film, which also features Yogi Babu in a pivotal role, are by Kalai Kingson.
