The Conjuring: Last Rites | Official Teaser
In "The Conjuring: Last Rites," the fourth and last movie in the series, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will take on their last case as they reprise their roles as the actual paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren, respectively.
On Friday, May 9, Warner Bros. unveiled the official teaser for "The Conjuring: Last Rites," which offers a sneak peek at the final case the couple looked into. Some fans believe this case could result in a significant fatality.
The teaser begins with Ed saying, "Don't touch anything," as he enters their notorious artefact room, which houses the demonic doll Annabelle and other haunting and cursed artefacts from their investigations.
As Ed and Lorraine recount portions of the trailer while considering the thousands of cases they have handled, the clip keeps the mood set: "Every situation is unique. Ed states, "Every family is different," but Lorraine cautions, "Something has changed." Something has changed.
Before Ed performs a dramatic exorcism and Lorraine is accosted by a malevolent spirit that informs her, "We've been waiting so patiently for you," the teaser includes jump scares and intense exorcism sequences.
