1. Khufiya 

Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ali Fazal appeared in Vishal Bhardwaj's film Khufiya. The spy thriller film Escape to Nowhere, which was based on Amar Bhushan's book, debuted on Netflix in 2023. Tabu plays the part of Krishna Mehra, a RAW agent. Ali Fazal was chosen to play Captain Ravi Devilal Mohan, a member of the army, while Wamiqa was given the role of Charu Ravi Mohan, his wife.

The movie tells the tale of Tabu's character Krishna Mehra, who is assigned to handle the case of Heena Rehman, a Bangladeshi woman who passes away throughout the movie. Krishna starts looking into Ali and his wife after developing suspicions about their morals.

Up until the very end, Bhardwaj's direction will have you guessing about who the genuine bad guy is.

2. Dobaaraa

One of Netflix's most underappreciated films is Dobaaraa. The science-fiction mystery thriller film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, was released in theatres in 2022. Taapsee Pannu played the main role in it. Rahul Bhat and Pavail Gulati play important roles in Kashyap's film. The 2018 Spanish film Mirage was officially remade in the Taapsee-starring role.


In Dobaaraa, Taapsee portrayed two distinct characters: Antara Awasthi and Dr. Antara Vasishth. She was paired with Rahul in addition to Pavail. The plot revolves around her character trying to preserve the life of a 12-year-old boy who witnessed a death 25 years earlier. The youngster and Taapsee's character converse over a television set. 

3. Hit: The First Case

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra played the main roles in HIT: The First Case, which was directed by Telugu director Sailesh Kolanu. 2022 saw the release of it. Rajkummar portrayed DCP Vikram Jaisingh, a police officer employed by Rajasthan's Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). Sanya was chosen to play forensic official Dr. Neha Mehta, his love interest.

The character played by Rajkummar is shown to be someone who battles anxiety and panic episodes in addition to dealing with his prior trauma. Vikram starts looking into the case of Preeti, an eight-year-old girl who vanishes on the road without explanation. Later on, his character learns that there are ties between the case and his background.

4.  Gumraah

Gumraah, which starred Aditya Roy Kapur in two parts, debuted in theatres on April 7, 2023. Ronit Roy and Mrunal Thakur played significant roles as well. The 2023 movie, which is helmed by Vardhan Ketkar, will transport you on an exciting murder investigation. Aditya portrays two personas: Arjun Sehgal, an engineer, and Sooraj Rana, a crook. When police identify two lookalikes, Sooraj and Arjun, as suspects during the investigation, conflict results.


5. The Body

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, The Body featured Emraan Hashmi and the late actor Rishi Kapoor. In the 2019 film, Sobhita Dhulipala was given a pivotal role. The official remake of the 2012 Spanish film of the same name was this mystery thriller. In it, Rishi Kapoor portrayed SP Jairaj Rawal.


Ajay Puri was portrayed by Emraan Hashmi. Sobhita played his wife, Maya Verma. Sobhita watches Maya's heart attack death. Before the autopsy, Jairaj calls Emraan's character Ajay to the mortuary, where her body vanishes, and he starts his inquiry. The truth emerges after several detours.
