Kaley Cuoco is thinking back on one of her most well-known parts and the classic program that made her a household name in the business. For twelve years, Cuoco played Penny on The Big Bang Theory. If the actress had the chance to do it all over again, she would gladly accept. The Flight Attendant star stated that her year spent on the sitcom was the most pleasurable of her career in an interview with People Magazine.
Along with Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch in guest appearances, Kaley featured in TBBT.
The actress went on to say in the interview that she owes a great deal to both the CBS show's creators and the program itself. Cuoco clarified, saying, "That role really launched my career, and I played it for 12 years." I owe [creator] Chuck Lorre, that character, and that program a great deal." She went on to say, "It was some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I've ever had."
Will Kaley Cuoco Reprise Her Role As Penny In The Future?
Leonard Hofstadter, played by Galecki, was paired with Cuoco's Penny. Throughout the show, there was an intermittent relationship between the two.
But after the show, Penny announces her pregnancy and the couple marries. Cuoco responded quickly when asked if she would reprise the part: "I would reprise that role." "I love that character, and I always will," she continued.
Regarding future endeavours, Cuoco will star in Based on a True Story, the second season of the Peacock television series. Regarding her next project, the actress can't wait for viewers to see season 2.
"I think we made an even better season 2," she stated, "We had such a great time shooting season 1." It's quite humorous. It's dark, and I'm excited about it.
