Mahesh Babu is reportedly making a brief appearance in his nephew Ashok Galla's movie Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, according to a number of publications. The actor was supposed to play Lord Krishna in the film, but Ashok himself has now disappointed everyone.
"My apologies for not responding immediately to the rumours about our superstar Mahesh Mamayya doing cameo role as Lord Krishna in my film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva," Galla said on his official X (previously Twitter) handle. This news is completely untrue! I apologise once more for my delayed response and am also quite disturbed that such false information has been disseminated.

The actor also explained that he was unable to provide clarification prior to the story being viral on social media because he is currently filming his next movie in New York City. "To be clear, if there was truly such a cameo in any of my films, it would be a very big personal and also career-defining moment, and I would be the first one to share such news," Ashok Galla continued.
The actor also said he was excited about his film's impending release and urged everyone to stop spreading such rumours.
Ashok Galla plays the lead in the action entertainer film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, which was directed by Arjun Jandyala. It has now been clarified that Mahesh Babu will play a cameo in the movie, which was written by Prasanth Varma of HanuMan fame. Superstar Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli are now working on his film. The movie, which is tentatively titled SSMB 29 or SSRMB, is being developed on an enormous budget of Rs 1000 crores and is anticipated to be a world-travelling adventure picture.
The director, who is now searching for locations for the Mahesh Babu film, was also spotted posting on Instagram from Kenya's Amboseli National Park. The rest of the cast, excluding Mahesh, has not yet been confirmed by the producers.
