On March 28, 2025, the Telugu heist action comedy Robinhood was released. Despite multiple attempts by the filmmakers to create attention, Venky Kudumula's film received mixed reviews when it first came out. To draw more people to the theatres, they even placed cricketer David Warner alongside Nithiin and Sreeleela. The movie had a respectable run despite the lacklustre reviews, and it is currently preparing for its digital release.
The story of Robinhood centres on Ram (Nithiin), an orphan who grows up seeing other orphans suffer from starvation. He becomes a contemporary Robinhood after being moved by their suffering. With his bold schemes, he starts robbing the wealthy and gives it back to the less fortunate.
At the same time, a vicious criminal (Devadatta Nage) wants to take his illicit marijuana business worldwide. He learns that a rare and sought-after kind of marijuana is grown in Rudrakonda hamlet. Neera Vasudev (Sreeleela), the daughter of Abhinav Vasudev (Sijju), the head of a pharmaceutical company, travels to Rudrakonda at about the same time.

Unexpectedly, Ram travels with her. As the narrative progresses, links between the antagonist Abhinav Vasudev in Australia and David, the global drug lord, are revealed.
Cricket player David Warner, Sreeleela, and Nithiin play important parts in Robinhood. Venky Kudumula wrote and directed the movie, and Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar produced it under the Mythri Movie Makers label. Sai Sriram is in charge of the photography, and GV Prakash Kumar is in charge of the music. Raam Kumar oversees the art direction of the movie, and Hari Tummala is the executive producer.
