Suriya Promises "Kanguva" Will Rival Baahubali and RRR

Kanguva, starring Suriya, is getting ready for its November 14, 2024, theatrical debut. The film, which was directed by Siva, is almost ready for release. In a recent exclusive interview, the director and actor talked to Pinkvilla.

Suriya was questioned about his thoughts on Kanguva, his first theatrical endeavour in three years, during the Masterclass interview. 

"It feels great; I've been really missing them," Suriya replied. It is crucial for all of us to be with them, amuse them, appear on film, and meet them in theatres.

"It's been almost 27 years, and I've never had this kind of gap before," the actor went on. I'm eagerly anticipating Kanguva. We began Kanguva with the goal of providing a completely unique cinematic experience, and it has been a lovely two-year journey. This film is dedicated to them. For a fantastic theatrical performance. This wait would undoubtedly be worthwhile.

Suriya was asked how he felt about playing a dual character set in two different eras as the actor continued to discuss the movie and his career in film. "We knew that we were entering a different world right from the narration day," the actor replied. We've seen Baahubali, RRR, and Kalki, of course, but Kanguva for Tamil, will be the first big step.
