Another terrifying trailer for 28 Years Later, the second sequel to one of the greatest British horror films ever made and one of the films we can't wait to see in 2025, will plunge you into existential dread and a bloody universe.
This sequel to the Cillian Murphy-starring 28 Days Later (2002) and the 2007 film 28 Weeks Later (2007) reunites director Danny Boyle and writers Alex Garland. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes star in this picture, which takes place 28 years after the events of the first two.
The virus that altered the globe is still festering in the world shown in the movie. We are shown a small, fortified island settlement in the caravan, where life has managed to survive and is safe from both infected and non-infected people. Although we don't know why two of the villagers must travel to the mainland, it appears to be a dangerous undertaking.
The remainder of the trailer, which was recorded on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, is a terrifying, jaw-dropping, bone-crunching, jump-scare-filled nightmare that gives us the impression that something really strange is about to happen. Are zombies slicing through stained glass to get to a priest who is ecstatic? Monsters running through a field at breakneck speed? Skull piles that appear to be man-made?
