The Fantastic Four: First Steps | Official Trailer | Only in Theaters July 25
The latest trailer for Marvel Studios' "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" features the return of Marvel's First Family.
The four main actors are Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, also known as the Thing; Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch; Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman; and Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson as the planet-destroying evil Galactus are also in the cast.
After Disney acquired 20th Century Fox and its properties, including the X-Men, the superhero team was formally introduced in the MCU with "The Fantastic Four: First Steps." Because "Fantastic Four" is set in an alternate, retro-futuristic 1960s Manhattan, where it seems like they are the only heroes alive at the moment, don't expect any other Marvel characters to appear in the film (unless there are some multiverse antics).
The MCU has already made references to the Fantastic Four. Chris Evans, better known as the MCU's Captain America, reprised his Human Torch in "Deadpool & Wolverine" before suffering a similar death, and John Krasinski briefly played Mister Fantastic in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" before being brutally murdered.
