Fear Street: Prom Queen | Official Trailer | Netflix
In "Fear Street: Prom Queen," a dance from the 1980s turns violent. "Prom season at Shadyside High is underway, and the school's wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown," reads the official logline. However, the class of '88 is suddenly in for an incredible prom night when a fearless outsider enters the race and the other girls begin to mysteriously vanish.
"Fear Street: Prom Queen," which he co-wrote with Donald Mcleary, was directed by Matt Palmer ("Calibre"). Suzanna Son (“Red Rocket”), Fina Strazza (“Above the Shadows”), Ariana Greenblatt (“Barbie”), Chris Klein (“Sweet Magnolias”), David Iacono (“The Summer I Turned Pretty”), Ella Rubin (“The Idea of You”), Lili Taylor (“Outer Range”), Katherine Waterston (“Perry Mason”), and India Fowler (“The Nevers”) are among the cast members.
Yvonne Bernard, Jane Stine, and Joan Waricha are executive producers, and Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson are producers through Chernin Entertainment.
"There is a surprising amount of blood and tragedy in these films, dulling the spooky fun at times to appropriately grieve dead teenagers," Variety said of the "Fear Street" trilogy when it included it among the "Best Horror Movies of 2021."
On May 23, "Fear Street: Prom Queen" will debut on Netflix.
