Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* | Final Trailer | In Theaters May 2
Thunderbolts*'s last trailer is now available.
Next month, Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* will be released in theatres across the United States. The MCU ensemble film stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry, Geraldine Viswanathan as Mel, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost.
Pugh's character Yelena is shown in the final Thunderbolts* teaser thinking back on the events of 2021's Black Widow and the passing of her sister, Natasha Romanoff, who is portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. Additionally, there is some footage of Pullman's Void spreading widespread chaos, which compels the antiheroes to act.
According to the official synopsis, "In Thunderbolts* Marvel Studios forms an unorthodox group of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker." These disillusioned castoffs must set out on a perilous quest that will compel them to face the most sinister aspects of their pasts after becoming entangled in a death trap created by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Before it's too late, will this dysfunctional gang break up or find atonement and come together as something much more?
Jake Schreier is the film's director, and Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo wrote the screenplay. Producer Kevin Feige is joined by executive producers Jason Tamez, Brian Chapek, and Louis D'Esposito.
On May 2, 2025, Thunderbolts* will be released in theatres across the United States. Fan screenings of the film will take place in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Miami, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Austin on April 22, 2025, thanks to Fandango and IMAX.
