Season 3 of "Ginny & Georgia" is seeing major changes, chief among them the imprisonment of Brianne Howey's character, Georgia.
Following Georgia's arrest in the Season 2 finale shortly after marrying Paul (Scott Porter), the third instalment's teaser begins with her imprisoned for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault), while Ginny (Antonia Gentry) traverses her prison during the scandal: high school.
"What happens if everything breaks down?" In the Netflix trailer, Ginny from Gentry poses the question. "A rock can be pulled out from under you in a split second."
The Season 3 trailer also hinted at the murder trial, but Georgia appears unfazed by the courthouse. She smirks and wears a pink outfit throughout the trial.
"You want to know if I did it or not?" Georgia says. "Perception is everything; I'm not a bad person."
The teaser shows Ginny's friendship with Marcus (Felix Mallard) developing even further as she goes to prom with the girls, although Ginny is understandably preoccupied with her mother's murder trial.
"Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding — ruining her fairytale ending and putting the Millers in the spotlight like never before," reads the Season 3 logline. The world has never come for Ginny and Georgia quite like this, but it has always been Ginny and Georgia against the world. Ginny must now assess her position in the event of an emergency. Is Ginny truly interested in joining the two of them against the world?
The third season of "Ginny & Georgia" will debut on Netflix on June 5.
