The first trailer for the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Jim Gillespie's 1997 slasher, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," has been published by Sony. Mainstays of the franchise, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt, reprise their parts as Ray Bronson and Julie James from the first two films.
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson is the director and Sam Lansky is co-writer of "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Robinson and Leah McKendrick wrote the first script, which was based on characters created by Lois Duncan. The fourth movie in the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" series is a direct sequel to the 1998 original, in which a group of friends kill a man in a hit-and-run accident and are plagued by a hook-handed killer a year later.
Austin Nichols, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Hauer-King, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette, Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, and Jonah Hauer-King co-star with Hewitt and Prinze Jr.
