Sony Pictures' modern western family drama, Broke, which was written and directed by Carlyle Eubank, takes viewers on a poignant trip through the American West. A rough, heartbreaking journey about the life of a once-promising rodeo cowboy whose best days may be behind him is the subject of the just-released trailer. On May 6, 2025, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres.
The protagonist of Broke is Wyatt Russell's character, True Brandywine, a bareback bronc rider who is adamant about preserving the waning fame of his rodeo career.
But when a strange spring blizzard leaves him alone in the Montana wilderness, fate puts him in a potentially fatal predicament. Fighting sickness, injury, and severe weather, True is compelled to consider the choices and regrets that brought him to this pivotal moment in his life.
Broke offers both visceral tension and emotional depth because it was shot entirely on location in Montana's stunning and bleak settings.
