Allu Arjun and director V. Arunkumar, popularly known as Atlee, walked away with a Guinness World Records certificate on September 15 after their film Raaka set a new benchmark for live motion‑capture. The record‑breaking session, held in February 2026, saw thirty‑seven performers – ranging from a preschool child to a septuagenarian – captured in a single take.
The achievement was verified by senior adjudicator Swapnil Dangrikar and presented in a ceremony attended by cast and crew members. It marks the first time an Indian production has been recognised for the highest number of simultaneous motion‑capture assets.
"We are extremely proud of this remarkable achievement, which pushes the boundaries of cinema and sets a new benchmark on a global scale," Allu Arjun told the gathering. He added that the feat would not have been possible without Atlee’s vision and Sun Pictures’ backing.
