Ten years in, the Bollywood Music Project is going big. The festival's anniversary edition lands at Jio Gardens in Mumbai on October 24, 2026, and the organisers have packed in more than 20 artists and ten curated acts across a Main Stage and a Second Stage.

Himesh Reshammiya headlines, pulling songs from across his catalogue for the top slot. Shilpa Rao gets the prime-time run just before the finale. Both have talked up the night in statements shared by the organisers, Reshammiya promising "an energetic and unforgettable evening" built on nostalgia, Rao framing her set as something built for the long haul, a show she wants people to carry with them.

The lineup leans hard into pairings that feel personal rather than just programmed. Hariharan shares the stage with his son Akshay, calling it a chance to fold classical roots into something newer, something built for right now. Anu Malik brings his daughters Anmol and Ada into a joint showcase with Babul Supriyo and Shahid Mallya, a set he's described as deeply emotional, a walk through decades of his own compositions alongside family.

Euphoria's Palash Sen is bringing the band out with Vaishali Samant, Shalmali Kholgade and Abhay Jodhpurkar in support, promising stadium-sized energy and what he called, only half-joking, a "Dhoomsday" nobody forgets. Roop Kumar Rathod and Sunali Rathod take the afternoon slot for Sufi and romantic numbers, Neeraj Shridhar brings his pop hits, and Anirudh Susuwaram opens the Main Stage.

The Second Stage is where the festival's folk-and-indie identity lives this year. Kutle Khan brings Rajasthani fusion, Junaid Ahmed and Anjana Padmanabhan cover semi-classical and folk ground, and Bombay Bandook represents the indie-rock side. Jaan Kumar Sanu, Aseem, The Qurious Band and Retro2Metro round out that stage.

Last year's edition pulled in over 20,000 people, according to the organisers, and this year's scale-up suggests they're betting the appetite hasn't dipped. Organiser Deepak Choudhary called the anniversary edition the festival's "definitive love letter to the fans," with higher production values and what he described as a broader sonic spread than previous years.

Tickets go live exclusively on District by Zomato, priced between Rs 1,499 and Rs 14,999 across General Access, VIP and Lounge categories. HSBC is presenting sponsor, with Hero Vida, JBL India and Vijay Sales on board as co-powered partners.

Three weeks out from the date, the only real question left is how fast those VIP and Lounge slots move once the gates open for booking.
