Rs. 375 crore India net is within reach, and Rs. 550 crore worldwide could follow soon. The film remains in strong hold, defying the usual mid-run dip. It’s already crossed ₹350 crore domestic net, a milestone that confirms its status as one of the biggest Hindi thrillers of the decade.
Yet the real story isn’t just the numbers. It’s what happens next. Director Abhishek Pathak has reiterated, once again, that there will be no Drishyam 4. 'We had to stop it at some point, and this was a beautiful ending,' he told Indian Express on October 14.
Fans are pushing for a revival, especially with Jailer 2, Prahaar, Nayyi Navelli, and Ranabaali all vying for attention in the coming weeks, but Pathak stands firm. 'If you get to it, there can be an enormous amount of story,' he admitted. 'But that’s not the point.' The trilogy ends here.
And so does the franchise. For now. The question isn’t whether it’ll return, it’s whether anyone else will try to resurrect it. The numbers say yes.
