Panorama Studios has set October 2 as the release date for the third Drishyam film, with tickets going live five days earlier under the tag DrishyamDay.
Advance booking for Drishyam: The Conclusion opens on September 27, five days before the film hits screens on October 2. Panorama Studios made the announcement on social media with the line "Iss Kahaani Ka Aakhri Panna Ab Khulne Wala Hai" and the hashtag #DrishyamDay, framing this as the last stretch of a story that started in 2015.
That framing matters. This is being sold as the closing chapter of a franchise that has run for over a decade, from the original Drishyam through 2022's Drishyam 2. Both films tracked Vijay Salgaonkar and his family covering up a killing tied to a missing teenager, staying a step ahead of a police officer determined to crack the case. Whether The Conclusion actually shuts the door on Vijay's story or leaves room for more is something only the film itself will answer.
Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay, with Tabu back as Meera Deshmukh. Shriya Saran reprises Nandini Salgaonkar. The returning ensemble includes Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, all carrying over roles from the earlier films. The new additions are Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj, though neither the source announcement nor the makers have detailed what parts they play.
Abhishek Pathak directs, as he did on Drishyam 2, and shares writing credit with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. The film is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios, with Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak listed as producers.
The timing puts Drishyam: The Conclusion in the thick of the festive corridor, landing days after Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations wind down and well ahead of the Diwali rush. A three-day gap between advance booking and release is a fairly standard window for a franchise title with this kind of built-in audience, and it gives distributors a clean read on opening-day demand before the film actually lands in theatres.
The makers had already put out a teaser for the track "Muskura Do," sung by Lucky Ali, ahead of this booking announcement, part of a rollout that's been steady rather than loud. With October 2 now locked in and tickets opening September 27, the next marker to watch is how early trade estimates read once advance numbers start coming in over that weekend.
