Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay, the man who has spent two films staying one step ahead of the law to protect his family. This time the pursuer has changed. Jaideep Ahlawat steps in as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, a new antagonist whose relentless streak, going by the trailer, sets up a fresh cat-and-mouse contest rather than a rehash of old ground.

Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Prakash Raj are all back, and the trailer leans hard on the idea that old wounds haven't closed. One beat that's got people talking, flagged by Bollywood Bubble, shows Tabu's character pushing for revenge rather than justice, her grief driving the plot in a direction that suggests this chapter isn't interested in a tidy legal resolution.

Director Abhishek Pathak is at the helm, and the film is officially a remake of the Malayalam Drishyam 3, which starred Mohanlal in the role Devgn now plays in Hindi.
