That secret draws the attention of Parshuram Gokhale, a man with a target list connected to Pradhan's past. When Pradhan is killed and Shyam gets wrongly blamed for it, he realises Parshuram is actually hunting for Pradhan's daughter, Nandini, and the film turns into a race to protect her before the truth about Shyam's innocence can even be sorted out. The supporting cast is stacked. Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher and Rajpal Yadav all feature in key roles, the kind of ensemble that usually cushions a shaky opening. It hasn't here.

Films with numbers this soft rarely claw back ground in week two, especially once poor word of mouth has settled in and multiplexes start trimming shows to make room for the next release.
