The woman at the centre of rapper Boosie's latest controversy has decided to talk. On Monday, September 14, a woman identified as Icelyn posted a series of clips on Instagram and Facebook laying out, in her words, what actually happened the night a fan filmed her and Boosie getting out of a black truck outside a hotel.

Her account, as reported by The Shade Room, goes like this. She says she never went to Boosie's concert at all. She and a friend showed up at the afterparty instead, where she ran into the rapper and one of his associates. Boosie allegedly complimented her and asked for her number. From there, she says, the group moved to another lounge before ending up at a hotel, which is the point at which the viral clip was recorded.

What happened inside the room is where her account gets specific and where it remains entirely her word. She alleges Boosie exposed her chest, and that she then asked him for money, which he refused. She says he grew agitated and had his friend ask her to leave.

In a separate video responding to online reaction, Icelyn pushed back on suggestions she's chasing attention. "You wanted me to clear it up but because I didn't clear it up how you wanted me to clear it up, you're mad," she said, addressing Boosie directly. She also claimed he'd been texting her repeatedly since the story broke. "You're saying I asked you for money, and I did 'cause you got it so spend that st. You're not the first famous person that I been with. You're just the first famous person who didn't want to spend that st."

She added that the fallout has pulled in people close to Boosie too. "Y'all got him and his wife in a uproar because they definitely called me yelling at the top of their lungs a whole week later," she said. "When is this going to be over? I'm tired of getting accused of doing something I didn't do."

Boosie has offered a different account. Per The Shade Room, he's denied touching Icelyn and alleged instead that she tried to sell herself to him, an offer he says he turned down. Earlier in the saga he posted a photo with his fiancée after the hotel footage started circulating, framing it as a show of where things stand at home.

None of this is settled. Two people are telling two different stories about the same night, and neither version has anything beyond itself backing it up. What's clear is that the comment sections aren't calming down, and neither side shows signs of dropping it. Whether Boosie addresses this again on his own platforms, or whether Icelyn keeps posting, is the only open question left.
