Three products. That's the whole routine Janhvi Kapoor posted on her Instagram this week, and it's got beauty pages doing the math on how little it takes to look put together.

No elaborate ten-step base, no contouring kit spread across a marble counter. Just concealer, a liquid blush and a nude-pink lip, applied in that order, mostly with her fingers.

She starts with the concealer doing double duty as her base, working it across her face with her hands instead of a brush or sponge. One layer, spread evenly, no buildup. Under the eyes, she switches to the concealer wand for a touch more coverage where it's needed, then blends it back in with her fingers so it doesn't sit heavy or look cakey.

Blush comes next, and this is the step that gives the whole look its shape. She picks a liquid formula in a soft pink, dabs it straight onto the cheeks, and blends with her fingers again. No brushes appear anywhere in this routine, which tracks with how low-effort the whole thing is meant to look, even if it clearly isn't zero-effort.

The last step is a nude-pink lip color that ties back into the blush shade, keeping the palette contained instead of throwing in a contrasting tone. That restraint is really the point of the routine. Every product stays in the same soft, pinkish family, which is why the finished face reads as fresh rather than done-up.

It's the kind of routine that photographs well precisely because it doesn't look like it's trying. Skin looks like skin, cheeks look flushed rather than powdered, lips look like a slightly better version of a natural tone. Nothing about it screams red-carpet prep, and that's presumably why it's landed as the kind of content fans actually want to copy rather than just admire from a distance.

Whether it holds up under studio lighting or a full day of flash photography is a separate question. Minimal-product routines tend to need touch-ups that don't show up in a single Instagram post. But for the everyday-outing, running-errands, coffee-with-friends bracket that Janhvi seems to be aiming at, three products and zero brushes is about as low-maintenance as a star's beauty routine gets.
