Keerthy Suresh landed in London on Thursday, and within hours the airport video of her signing autographs and posing for photos was doing the rounds online. What got people talking wasn't the trip itself but the timing. Tamil Nadu chief minister Vijay had reportedly left for London a day earlier, and the back-to-back travel was enough for some corners of the internet to start joining dots, as reported by Filmibeat Tamil.

Her own fans weren't having it. Several pushed back in the comments, arguing that two people flying to the same city a day apart is hardly proof of anything, and asked others not to manufacture a theory out of thin air. Fair point. London is a big city and September isn't exactly an unusual month for either a politician or an actor to be abroad.

What's actually keeping Keerthy busy right now is Dorothy, her next release, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film's music, composed by Ilaiyaraaja, has already landed well ahead of the film itself. Two songs out so far, Muthumani and Kalyana Virundhu, have been on loop everywhere from wedding functions to reels, and the white-saree visual from Muthumani in particular has fans reaching for words like divine to describe it. Trade watchers seem to think this could be the release that gives her career a proper push again.

That push would be timely. Keerthy's journey from Malayalam cinema to becoming one of Tamil film's most in-demand leading women is well documented at this point. Rajini Murugan opened doors to pairings with Vijay, Vikram, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and Dhanush, and she made the most of every one of them. Mahanati, the Telugu biographical film, got her the National Award for Best Actress, a career high that still gets cited whenever her range comes up.

Her personal life has run in parallel. She married Anthony Thattil after a long relationship, in a Goa ceremony held in both Hindu and Christian traditions, with Vijay and Trisha among those who attended. Work hasn't slowed since. Sathyaveerudu and Revolver Rita, her two most recent outings, drew what can charitably be called a mixed response, which makes the hype around Dorothy matter even more for where her filmography goes from here.

No release date for Dorothy has been confirmed yet, though the music rollout suggests the makers aren't far from announcing one. Until then, expect more airport videos, more theories, and probably more fans telling everyone else to calm down.
