The actor was the first contestant to leave the house, with low audience votes attributed to his quiet demeanor and lack of task participation.
Actor Krishnudu’s stint on the latest season of Bigg Boss Telugu came to an abrupt end on Thursday, marking the first eviction of the series. Host Nagarjuna announced the decision on the show, pointing to the contestant’s minimal involvement in house activities as the primary factor.
During his brief stay, Krishnudu kept a low profile, rarely joining the group tasks or the entertainment segments that usually keep viewers engaged.
When the weekly voting results were revealed, his name topped the list of lowest‑scoring participants, prompting his exit.
Industry chatter on social platforms has been quick to dissect the move. Many fans noted that his silence contrasted sharply with the more vocal housemates, who constantly vied for screen time. Others argued that the format rewards those who actively shape house dynamics, leaving a quiet player at a disadvantage.
Financially, the actor’s contract reportedly set his remuneration at ₹2 lakh per week. Having lasted exactly two weeks, his total earnings from the reality show sum up to roughly ₹4 lakh, according to a track‑tollywood report. The figure aligns with unofficial calculations circulating online, which suggest a weekly payout in the ₹2‑3 lakh range for contestants. No official statement from the production house has confirmed the exact amount, but the consensus points to a modest sum compared with the higher‑paid stars of previous seasons.
Krishnudu first entered the limelight with the 2008 film Vinayakudu, directed by Sai Kiran Adivi, and later appeared in its sequel Village Vinayakudu. Since then, he has taken on several supporting roles across Telugu cinema, though recent years have seen him step back from the big screen. His participation in Bigg Boss was seen as a potential comeback, making his early departure all the more surprising for followers of his career.
The elimination also reshapes the week’s nomination lineup, leaving the remaining contestants to recalibrate their strategies. With the next episode slated for next Friday, viewers can expect fresh challenges and new alliances to emerge as the house continues its drama‑filled journey.
