Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are now a family of four.
The 22-year-old actress and her 24-year-old husband confirmed on Thursday that they've adopted a second child, a baby boy. The announcement came on Instagram, a joint post captioned simply, "hi little guy!" The photo showed four hands stacked together, Millie's, Jake's, the new baby's and their toddler daughter's. Millie was wearing a sparkly ring that reads "Mom."
The post landed just hours after People first reported, via a source, that the couple had welcomed their second baby through adoption. So the confirmation moved fast, faster than most celebrity baby news tends to.
This is the second adoption for the couple in just over a year. Millie and Jake announced their first daughter's arrival in August 2025, writing at the time that they were "beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy." That post ended with a line that reads differently now: "And then there were 3."
The couple has kept their older daughter almost entirely out of public view. No name, no face, nothing beyond glimpses in carrier straps and cropped photos. Millie has said before that she wants her daughter to have the choice, when she's older, of whether to share her own story. It looks like the same rule will apply to their son.
Fans had actually clocked something was up days before either confirmation. Millie posted photos and clips from a family holiday in Italy, and in one video Jake can be seen walking around with a baby carrier strapped to his chest while Millie holds their daughter. The internet did the math.
There's a bit of context worth adding here. Back in June, Millie sat down with Kylie Kelce on her podcast and talked about wanting a biological child down the line, alongside the adopted daughter she already had. She described adoption as something she'd wanted since she was five or six, when she played with dolls and imagined them as adopted rather than pretending she was expecting. She was clear that wanting a biological kid someday doesn't take anything away from how she feels about adoption. For Millie, she said, adoption simply is love.
Millie and Jake, son of Bon Jovi's Jon Bongiovi, have been together since 2021 and married in May 2024 at Villa Cetinale in Italy, a quiet ceremony reported at the time by People and The Sun. They've built their entire relationship, engagement, wedding and now parenthood, largely on their own terms, in public just enough to share the milestones and no more.
No word yet on the baby's name or birth details. Given how the first adoption played out, don't expect either anytime soon.
