Eight podium finishes — two gold, four silver, two bronze, across shooting, water sports, squash and team events, with the state’s name etched in history for India’s first-ever men’s singles squash medal and its first sailing silver in skiff. Neeru Dhanda of Shivpuri didn’t just win gold in women’s trap. She broke an Asian record with 28 out of 30 hits, then followed it up with mixed team gold alongside Kynan Chenai.
