The Paradise's premiere haul walks past Pushpa 2's 10.65 crore net, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu's 9.35 crore, and The RajaSaab's 9.15 crore, per the same report. That's Allu Arjun, and two other big Tollywood banners, all trailing a Nani film on premiere night. For an actor whose career has run on word-of-mouth hits rather than day-one frenzy, that's new territory.
The film ran 900 premiere shows nationwide and posted a 79% occupancy, which Koimoi calls a big overshoot on expectations going in. Pre-sales had already been running hot in the days before release, and the goodwill Nani has banked over the years clearly translated into people showing up on night one, cash in hand, before a single review dropped.
