The actor becomes the face of Pune-based real estate developer Mantra Group during its expansion into new markets and luxury segments.
Ranbir Kapoor is now the public face of Mantra Group, the Pune-based real estate firm that’s gearing up for a major phase of growth. The announcement, made by Bollywood Hungama, confirms the actor will front a new brand campaign titled 'The Festival of Choices,' which will roll out across Mantra’s residential, commercial, and luxury portfolios.
Founded in 2007, Mantra Group has evolved from a local developer into a multi-segment player with projects in Mumbai, Pune, and branded residences abroad through a tie-up with Jacob & Co. Its luxury arm, Burgundy, has collaborated with designer Manish Malhotra, while Ganti Associates has shaped its architectural identity.
The choice of Ranbir isn’t arbitrary. Rohit Gupta, Mantra’s Managing Director, pointed to a symbolic parallel: both the actor and the company began their journeys in 2007 and have since built distinct identities through consistent evolution. "We felt the brand needed a personality who could represent this evolution," Gupta said.
Ranbir echoed that sentiment, citing the company’s blend of strong roots and forward momentum as appealing. He’ll star alongside Gupta in a new brand film, marking one of his latest high-profile endorsements.
This isn’t just about visibility. The campaign will open inventory across multiple projects and offer consumer benefits under the Mantra and Burgundy banners. It’s part of a broader strategy to expand into micro-markets and explore hospitality — a shift from pure construction to curated living experiences.
For Ranbir, it adds another layer to a portfolio already stacked with fashion, lifestyle, and tech partnerships. For Mantra, it’s a calculated bet on celebrity credibility to signal maturity and ambition in a competitive real estate landscape.
The timing is sharp. With India’s urban real estate market showing signs of recovery and luxury demand rising, positioning the brand with a star known for depth and consistency could pay off. Whether it translates into sales remains to be seen, but the message is clear: Mantra isn’t just building homes. It’s building a legacy.
