Jazzma Kendrick posted photos of a bruised lip and said she left the rapper after he allegedly hit her, while his former partner Tia Kemp publicly questioned her account.
Jazzma Kendrick says the relationship ended the day Rick Ross allegedly busted her lip. She laid out the allegation over a string of Instagram Stories posted Saturday, September 26, and the photos she attached are hard to look away from — one shows a swollen lip and cheek, another her pulling up her top lip to reveal what looks like a deep purple bruise.
"He saw a punching bag," she wrote, responding to a fan comment calling her gorgeous.
In a separate post she wrote something closer to a warning than a caption. "I don't know a lot of things, but I do know that a man put his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will," Kendrick said. A follow-up post read like advice to anyone who might need it: "If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don't give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave."
Rick Ross hasn't responded publicly to the allegations as of this writing. Nothing here has been established in any legal sense, and Kendrick's posts remain, for now, one side of the story told entirely on social media.
Which brings us to Tia Kemp. She shares a 21-year-old son with Ross and dated him between 2003 and 2007, and she showed up in the comments on The Shade Room's post about Kendrick's allegations with her own take. "Ladies when that man say go home…lawdddd," Kemp wrote, going on to advise women to "keep a job" and not expect the mansion life to last forever.
She didn't stop at a comment. Kemp went live on one of her social accounts and, according to The Shade Room, more or less accused Kendrick of lying. "I ain't feeling sorry for no h*e," she said, adding that Ross wouldn't "hit nobody" and that there are cameras "all around that new state of the art house." She said she'd pull the footage herself if she had to.
Kemp went further, telling Kendrick she wouldn't be seeing a cent of Ross's money. "If you think you finna get any of that estate," she said, "we gon settle out with you for some Wingstop wings or something." She claimed she'd already warned Ross about the company he was keeping, calling Kendrick and others "ex-prostitutes" in the same breath.
It's a messy, three-way public airing with real allegations of physical abuse sitting at the centre of it, and right now the only documentation is what Kendrick chose to post herself. No police report, no statement from Ross, no independent confirmation of what happened inside that house. Tia Kemp's comments read less like a defence built on evidence and more like a former partner picking a side loudly and fast.
What happens next probably depends on whether Kendrick takes this beyond Instagram Stories, and whether Ross says anything at all.
