Eighteen-year-old Ruhaanika Dhawan has spent this season of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 around snakes, fighter dogs and live wires, and going by her own reactions on camera, none of it came easy to her.

She's already a known face on Indian television, but the stunt-based reality format has put her through paces her regular shows never asked for. Panic, hesitation, the odd scream, it's all been part of the package. What's notable is she kept going anyway.

The creepy-crawly task is the one everyone's still talking about. Multiple snakes, one very visibly frightened contestant, and Ruhaanika pushing through a fear she's called one of her biggest. She looked scared through most of it. She finished it anyway.

Then there's the one she actually enjoyed. Paired with Farrhana Bhatt for an aerial ropes challenge, the two had to hold their balance across a string of obstacles high up, working in sync to get through it. Ruhaanika has called it her favourite stunt of the season, which says something given everything else she's been through.

The fighter dogs task went the other way entirely. She's described it as among the most frightening stretches of her time on the show, a task built around holding steady under physical pressure while very large, very trained dogs did their thing nearby. She stayed composed enough to finish it, by her own account, though it clearly rattled her.

Rohit Shetty then paired her with Orry for a stunt that layered electric shocks over reptiles, a combination designed to hit multiple fears in one go. It's the kind of task the show has built its reputation on, and Ruhaanika's reactions through it reportedly reflected exactly how tough it was. She stuck it out regardless.

The Capsule Stunt rounded off her toughest stretch on the show, a task built less around a single scare and more around sustained endurance, the kind that wears contestants down mentally as much as physically. Fellow contestants reportedly rallied around her during it, which has become something of a pattern this season.

Taken together, it's been a season defined less by any one spectacular stunt and more by Ruhaanika's willingness to keep attempting tasks that visibly terrified her. That's usually the arc Khatron Ke Khiladi rewards on finale night.

With the finale now close, the question is whether that consistency translates into a trophy, or whether the show's older, more seasoned stunt performers pip her at the line. Either way, her season has given the show a genuinely different kind of contestant story to sell.
