Sharvari Dances With Madhuri Dixit In Yeh Prem Mol Liya Video

The clip, set to the film's title track, marks a handoff between two generations of Rajshri heroines ahead of Sooraj Barjatya's November 27 release.

Sharvari has found herself dancing alongside the actress she grew up idolising, and she made sure everyone knew it.

On Instagram, the actress shared a video of herself and Madhuri Dixit performing to the title track of her upcoming film, Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Both are dressed in traditional outfits, moving through a synchronised routine that leans hard into the nostalgia of old Rajshri musicals. Sharvari's caption did not hold back: "So honoured to receive this much prem from one of the OG Rajshri heroines of Sooraj Barjatya sir.. The one and only Madhuri Dixit ma'am. Getting to dance alongside my idol feels surreal and soooo special. Thankyou ma'am, you are the best!"

The pairing is not random. Madhuri remains the face most associated with Barjatya's Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, the 1994 blockbuster that basically defined the Rajshri house style of weddings, sangeets and extended families breaking into song at the slightest excuse. Sharvari is now stepping into that same lineage as the heroine of Barjatya's next directorial, which makes the on-screen handshake between the two feel less like a cameo and more like a passing of the baton.

Yeh Prem Mol Liya also happens to be Ayushmann Khurrana's first film with Barjatya, a pairing that's been generating its own curiosity given how far Khurrana's filmography usually sits from the joint-family romance genre. He plays Prem, Sharvari plays Purva, and per Filmfare's account of the plot, the film follows a close friendship between the two that turns into love before a lie derails everything and forces both characters toward a reckoning.

The supporting cast reads like a proper Rajshri reunion: Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Shaad Randhawa and Swanand Kirkire round out the ensemble. Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music, and this isn't even the first promotional moment built around a song from the soundtrack. Seema Pahwa had earlier recreated the track "Jhumka Patola" from the film, a video that drew reactions from Sharvari herself along with Richa Chadha.

For Sharvari, the Madhuri moment lands in the middle of a genuinely packed year. She's already been seen in Alpha opposite Alia Bhatt as part of YRF's spy universe, and in Main Vaapas Aaunga alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah and Vedang Raina. Yeh Prem Mol Liya is a tonal swing from both, closer to old-school family entertainment than anything she's done recently, and the Madhuri video seems designed precisely to signal that shift to audiences who grew up on exactly this kind of cinema.

Yeh Prem Mol Liya, produced by Rajshri Productions with Mahaveer Jain Films, opens in cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2026. Whether the title track and this bit of Madhuri nostalgia translate into opening-weekend numbers is the next thing to watch.
